SASHA GALITZKI

A passionate aerial artist whose unique performances merge artistry with adventure, Sasha uses her creative work to draw attention to beautiful and often vulnerable natural environments.
 

A lifelong outdoorswoman, Sasha has been enjoying the ups and downs of adventures outside ever since she was catapulted out of her dad’s ski pack and into a snowdrift as a baby. From throwing bombs as a ski patroller to performing gravity-defying acrobatics in subzero temperatures, her adventures require immense physicality, sound risk-assessment, and unwavering confidence... plus flips, spins, and occasional splits.
 

In July 2024, Sasha faced a devastating personal loss when her home and much of her Jasper community were destroyed by wildfires. Sasha's performance art now carries an even deeper significance as she channels her grief into raising awareness of the impact of climate change on the places she loves.

Sasha is a 2025 United Nations International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation Partner and a member of the Protect Our Winters Creative Alliance.
